𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲: Designing Compelling Experiences

Just about anywhere you visit on the web, you’ll find people talking about “Customer Experience,” “Employee Experience,” or even “Total Experience.” What is an experience? How do they work? Why should we even care? With so many different versions of “Experience” out there, it’s easy to get confused, sidetracked, start working on the wrong thing, or invest in an initiative that won’t deliver the desired results.

By starting with designing a compelling experience, organizations gain clarity and focus on creating memorable experiences for those they serve. Compelling experiences are highly engaging and help to build (or even repair) relationships between an organization and its stakeholders. While many focus on journey mapping and metrics, there’s a lot more to attend to (e.g. knowledge, skills, capabilities, etc.) that will make the difference between success and failure.

During this episode of Digital Dialogue, we will examine some of these commonly missed elements and identify various sources of risk you must consider when selecting, starting, or rescuing an experience design initiative.
