This episode featured a panel of top executives, ๐—๐—ฒ๐˜€๐˜€๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ ๐—–๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฟ๐—ผ๐—น๐—น, ๐—”๐—ฑ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜๐˜, and ๐—Ÿ๐—ถ๐˜€๐—ฎ ๐— ๐—ฒ๐—ถ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ, who shared their experiences in fostering strategic alliances within their organizations. In addition, they provided some valuable tips for the networking introverts on how to get started.

๐—–๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ป ๐—ž๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜‚๐˜€๐—ฒ said "A business relationship is exactly that - you need to nurture your relationship, deposit in your relationship check book by helping with not questions asked. Then it is easier to withdraw from than when you actually need help."

Once tip resonated with ๐— ๐—ฎ๐˜๐˜ ๐——๐—ฒ๐˜๐˜„๐—ถ๐—น๐—ฒ๐—ฟ, "I love the idea of treating people across the company the way I'd treat people in my group. I'm great a leading down, ok at leading across but rubbish at leading up. That's a great tip."

๐—ฅ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐—ผ ๐——๐—ฒ ๐—Ÿ๐—ฎ ๐—–๐—ฟ๐˜‚๐˜‡ noted "Adrienne said it best. Reminding and reflecting on the purpose of it all and why we do what we do as a team. I found my team perform best as I help them understand why we do the work we do and why it matters."

๐——๐—ฎ๐—น๐—ฒ ๐—•๐—ผ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐˜‡๐—ฎ posed the question "As people of a similar generation I'd be curious if the panel has interfaced with younger Gen Y and Gen Z "C" levels?" To which ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐˜๐˜๐—ถ ๐—•๐—น๐—ฎ๐—ฐ๐—ธ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฎ๐—ณ๐—ณ๐—ฒ commented "Connection, transparency, commonality and shared values breaks down a lot of the demographic challenges."

๐—ง๐—ฎ๐—บ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ ๐—ฃ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ธ posted this question to the panel: "What perspectives and skills specifically as woman leaders have helped you connect on the human level with other C-suite leaders?" ๐—•๐—ฟ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ป๐—ฒ ๐—–๐—ฎ๐˜€๐˜๐—ฒ๐—ฒ๐—น added "I've felt it frustrating to know I can give others value but am not yet included. It's a learned trait in patience to know it takes time to build that trust and continue reaching out to do so."
